suggesting some category changes
Thought I'd repost this since I don't think anyone saw it before.
Anythoughts? Other suggestions?

well...not that anyone has used these boards much since they went up, but I was thinking, which is always dangerous. How about a board where Elizabeth and Anneliese can post the transcripts of chats, so anyone who doesn't get to go can can come and read, and feel enlightened. Long ago, the chat transcripts used to be mailed out to everyone, so this is just a variation on that. Also, how about someplace where the que/schedule is posted for easy reference?

I agree with you, Mike. It would be nice to have the schedule posted somewhere so that I don't have to search through all my e-mails for it.

I was always a big fan of the chat logs. And was thoroughly disappointed when both the chat logs and the chats pretty much disappeared from the group. If we get more chats up and running, then by all means, lets post them somewhere and email them out again,
The updated schedule should be both here and on SFWW's original website. SPeaking of which I should check it out again. Should there be a link to this site from the original SFWW website?

Sounds good to me. I didn't even know these chats existed. If Anneliese agrees, I can make another category, or we can fit them into an existing one (like SFWW General or SFWW Business).
I'm not a complete idiot -- some parts are missing.

I can probably scare up previous chat logs (2002/2003) and Anneliese should have logs from our more recent chats, if we want to create a Chat Log area.
Having our critique/chat schedule somewhere on this site is also an excellent idea...our current site hasn't been updated in some time, and we've had difficulty contacting the Webmaster. I fear he's somewhere in the Middle East.

OK, folks, this is part of my New Years resolution, so yes, if you want the chat logs, I can scare them up and begin posting them. Just give me some time, because they are scattered over several computers.
Today, I sent the last two around by emai (but you probably already know that).
